 Event description:

The Retrofitting workshop was organized by the IEEE SB PES & SEEE of GVPCE(A) in collaboration with Naturays EV on 23rd January 2026 to create awareness about electric vehicles and sustainable mobility solutions.

• The session began with an introduction to electric vehicle technology and the concept of retrofitting, which involves converting conventional petrol vehicles into electric vehicles.

• The Managing Director of Naturays EV, Mr. Siva Jagarapu, explained the importance of eco-friendly transportation and sustainable energy solutions in today’s world.

• Participants learned about EV components, working principles, and the technology involved in electric mobility systems.

• A live demonstration was conducted to help students understand the practical aspects of EV conversion and retrofitting techniques.

• The workshop provided students with valuable insights into future trends in electric mobility and green transportation technologies.

• The event created an informative and engaging environment, encouraging students to explore innovations in electric vehicle technology and sustainable engineering solutions.
